aspell-gu software package provides Gujarati (gu) dictionary for GNU aspell, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install aspell-gu
aspell-gu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the aspell-gu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep aspell-gu *
You will get with aspell-gu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
